"I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life"—
to "live deliberately," and "simplify, simplify, simplify."
—Henry David Thoreau
For me, I guess it really should be called the "Onalaska Experiment." (Or just the "experiment.)
To be honest, the results were mixed, with no profound data to hold on to. What writings follow on the pages of this "blog" are as close as it gets to being the product of my Walden experiment and the lingering (and perchance permanent) effect.
This is where I re-awoke as a poet and found my voice.

Getting Started
I don't know whether I'll really blog or not. It seems too much like just winging it, and I'm too much of a craftsman. Or maybe I'm just too self-critical. Maybe I'm chicken.
Anyway, this will be a good place to post my published poems . . . assuming I have any.
